More than 40,000 square feet of exhibits. Live entertainment daily. Attractions include Elvis's gold-encrusted Cadillac. Adults: $14.95, children: $7.95.

Ryman Auditorium - 116 Fifth Ave. N., 615-254-1445


Historic former home of the Grand Old Opry. Just off Broadway where you'll find "Tootsie's" and many other famous country music hang-outs. Daytime tours. Adults: $6, children: $2.50.




Wildhorse Saloon - 120 Second Ave. N., 615-902-8200

    "Country that kicks!" Show off, or learn the latest dances, see top country stars perform live, or catch a concert by a hot new top country artist. Cover cost varies. Hours: 11 am - 2 am.

General Jackson Showboat - 2804 Opryland Drive, 615-871-6100

    A four-deck paddlewheeler offering cruses on the Cumberland River, featuring live entertainment and dinner. Call for costs and departure times.


The Hermitage: Home of President Andrew Jackson - 4580 Rachel's Lane, 615-889-2941

    The Hermitage, home of our seventh president, features a biographical film, museum exhibits, mansion and grounds tour, Jackson's tomb, and self-guided tours. Adults: $10, children: $5.

The Parthenon - West End Ave. at 25th Ave. - 615-862-8431



Replica of the Greek temple housing casts of the Elgin Marbles, fine art, traveling exhibits and the 42-foot statue of Athena. Adults $3.50, children and seniors: $2.
