The ideas of governance on which America is founded represent,
perhaps, man's greatest achievement. The idea that government must be
empowered only by the consent of the governed, is the most powerful
idea about governance ever conceived. At the end of the day, it is
the idea, and the system of governance, that will guide all people to
healthy, happy, and prosperous lives.
The mission of Freedom21 is to advance and promote the principles of freedom at every level of government.
A collection of commentaries, thoughts, and ideas on the issues we face in the advancement and defense of the principles of freedom.
Meet the Board of Directors and Advisors for Freedom21
The Environmental Conservation Organization, Inc., was founded in 1988 when 17 national organizations met in Chicago to devise a strategy to protect private property rights from erosion by excessive environmental
regulations. ECO was chartered in 1990 as a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit
organization. The organization moved to Hollow Rock, Tennessee in
1993.
Over the years, the mission of ECO expanded in scope - to advance the principles of freedom in public policy at every level of government. To more accurately reflect this expanded mission, the Board of Directors on October 17, 2008, made the decision to change the name of the organization to Freedom21, Inc.
